Another new song captured by Tos. "Walking Backwards" is a song about moving forward with an eye on the past. The lyrics are below.

There's too many people and too many problems.
Too many reasons to get out of here.
I tried to get a piece of the pie, but they ate while I waited.
They charged me twenty dollars and asked me how it tasted.

That's not the dream that I was promised, but I think I've been spoiled rotten.
I know that I've forgotten I'm walking backwards.
Walking backwards so I can see where I'm from.
Walking backwards so I can see where I've been.

There are many that have come before us,
many more that are on their way.
There's a sweet, sweet smell that's in the air
and I want my babies to taste it.

I'm walking backwards, backwards so I can see where I'm from.

The highway is crumbling and the seas are rough,
the captain is owned by the wrecking yard.
We've got to put our hands together, lift each other up one by one.
You can kill the dreamer, but you can't kill the dream,
and I see a new day rising.

Oh, my son.
Can I hold you, can I take you there with me?
We're walking backwards,
backwards to see we can see where we're from.
